There is a fanfic out there somewhere which inspired this.  I only wish I could remember who wrote it; it was a charming fairy tale.  :)

I believe the story was posted somewhere on "West of the Moon." What enchanted me was the description of the years rolling by with the seasons ever changing, but Sam could always be found waiting under that window. :)

Spring is just coming into full bloom where I live, and the clematis is budding. I hope to take some photos of those flowers this year, and work them into 3D models. I could have used those in this painting :)
