"Summer Nap"

I'm not sure if I ever posted this other than on my journal homepage; apologies if I already have.  This is an older 3Delight render which is an illustration from my ongoing fic.  In this story Frodo re-writes LOTR in the Undying Lands, adding several episodes that it wasn't politic to include in the version which he left behind in Middle-Earth, and every day he reads some of it to Sam after they have their lunch time nap.  There are some silly little flower-dragons who live nearby who are more intelligent than they look, and right now they're not-so-patiently waiting for the hobbits to wake up so they can hear more of their wonderful story.  :)

Favorite detail:  Frodo's look of utter contentment and bliss!
