Frodo for Harp :)

I've composed a couple of dozen pieces of music for LOTR over the years.  In fact, I am harboring a tune right now that's been bugging me to write it down-- something about two little swallows soaring in the air over the sea.  Anyway, here is a find from one of my storage boxes ^_^  I'm afraid this little piece isn't anything as grand as some of the Frodo-inspired harp music I've heard on CD, but it got me a passing grade in one of my college psychomusicology courses ^_^

It's an easy three flats, though ^_^

Of course, on the harp, flats and sharps are controlled by foot pedals, so the fingering isn't as different as it would be on piano :)

I think I started to reply to this last night and got distracted and never hit send, lol! Anyway, I can only almost hear some of it in my head,at least the treble cleff part (I always really sucked at the left hand when playing piano) although it's been so many years since I played my violin! :)

The violin is such a lovely instrument, and to me at least, it seems so much more difficult to play than harp. I've never been able to get a sound out of one. Kudos to you for learning how to play it! :)
