I don't recall seeing any illustrations of Sam and Frodo's river mishap in the Old Forest, so I decided to try creating this scene.  I was pleased with the result, but unfortunately Merry and Pippin are both out of view!   ^_^

That's beautiful! I think this is the first time I've seen any artwork for this scene.

Thank you so much! ^_^ I recall one card or calendar painting of Sam looking down the riverbank in horror at Frodo lying in the water, but I can't think of a single work that depicts him pulling Frodo out. It's really very strange there are not more, as it is quite a dramatic scene.
