A mild-mannered engineer by day, an independent film maker by night, my dear cousin Anton Doiron is one of those quirky super-genius types that appear every so often to brighten our days-- kind of like Doc Brown from 'Back to the Future'  :)   We have been close from the get-go and I love him like a brother, so I want to introduce him to all my friends here on Dreamwidth, and thank him yet again for taking the trouble to host my artwork on his server.   It would be much more difficult for me to maintain these journals if not for his generosity.
This 7-minute clip delivers typical Anton gold as he takes us on a humorous tour of his home-made Alaskan heating system-- from temperature sensors housed in Altoid tins, to handmade circuit boards and controller software that he wrote himself.  Cats are optional  :)
I hope I don't annoy anybody by crossposting this...
