I really didn't intend to post any fics to this site-- it's supposed to be just for visual art. But the more I think about it, the fewer good reasons I can find for separating fics from pics. Fiction is more specific, and that's why I originally intended to keep it separate. Folks who may be be squicked by "slash" fiction (I never liked the term, it sounds violent) might still be able to enjoy my artwork, which I consciously have tried to keep, if not exactly neutral, "by the book."
I think there may be a serious lesson for me here. After enjoying so much fanart made by others, (particularly Mucun's, but many others) I am getting restive and I feel unsatisfied, not really with my work so much, though that always needs improvement, but with my attitude. It's time to dispense with "respectability" and cut loose with the true passion in my heart. To this end, I present a small excerpt from one of my WIPs behind the cut.
