Rainbow Falls, Revisited

There is nothing as wonderful as sharing a moment of awe and delight with a loved one, and this theme of shared wonderment is such an important part of Tolkien's world. Here our hobbit friends revisit Henneth Annûn, Faramir's hideout with its rainbow waterfall, after the War of the Ring.

I am grateful for your appreciation! Getting the light, color and transparencies the way I wanted here was quite difficult! I eventually resorted to building a 3D model of the waterfall and applying light gels to get the effect I was looking for. I wanted a very strong rainbow ^_^

I absolutely adore Mucun's incredible art, and she is so prolific! I have to admit I will be a little embarrassed if she ever sees my work, which is so unskilled in comparison ^^;
